Renowned smartphone brand Vivo is officially entering the Croatian market. After expanding to the markets in Austria, the Czech Republic, Serbia and Romania last year, Vivo phones are finally coming to the Republic of Croatia.

Chinese Vivo, the fifth largest global smartphone manufacturer, has officially announced its arrival on the Croatian market. Known as a brand that is strongly focused on meeting its customers and their real needs instead of encouraging innovation for innovation itself, Vivo was the first in the industry to introduce in-display fingerprint scanning as well as a gimbal-like stabilization system on its rear camera, and the company boasts its step-by-step business model. The brand currently present in more than 60 markets worldwide and has more than 400 million customers.

“We are glad to say ‘Hi!’ to consumers and the media in Croatia and to officially present ourselves and our unique vivo approach. Since our first Greetings Europe in October 2020, we have been growing steadily and are currently present in 17 European markets and have seen a warm welcome for vivo smartphones, both from end consumers and business partners. We are very much looking forward to making new friends in Croatia, continuing to grow guided by our philosophy of doing the right thing in the right way,” said Dušan Kuzmanović, Sales Director at Vivo Balkans.

Aware of the consumer demands in Croatia, Vivo has announced its first partnership with Dimotel to make it easier for customers to find, try and choose a Vivo smartphone that meets their needs and expectations.

In addition to their so-called flagship and semi-flagship models, Vivo’s European line includes great Y series smartphones. From entry-level devices for those looking for their first smartphone to mid-range devices for those who need a balanced device with high value for money, Vivo offers the right a Y-series smartphone for everyone, the company said during the presentation.

Vivo is focusing on the camera, and the new Y76 5G model has been praised by representatives for its 50 MP main camera as part of the triple-rear camera system, while the front-facing camera has 16 MP. They also presented other models of the mentioned series – Y33s, Y21s and Y21. According to the statement, each of the new phones shares the same key features: a 5000 mAh fast-charging battery, Android 12 OS, dual-SIM functionality, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

As reported by PC Chip, this series will be available on the Croatian market at recommended retail prices of HRK 1,299 for the Y21 and HRK 1,599 for the Y21s. It is followed by Y33s with a price of HRK 1,899, and Y76 5G at a recommended retail price of HRK 2,399.

As reliability and quality post-sales support are crucial for Vivo, all devices have a two-year manufacturer warranty, and in case something goes wrong, customers in Croatia can rely on the local MR Servis for support and repairs.
