The AI ​​assistant “Branka” was designed to enable future students to enroll faster and easier at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing at University of Zagreb.

Artificial intelligence comes with several types of dangers. In addition to short-term problems such as fake content or loss of jobs, there is also the existential threat to humanity. Leading AI experts have long been warning about such a threat – which would be caused by artificial intelligence itself, and not due to its misuse by humans.

The Zagreb Faculty of Computing and Electrical Engineering (abbr. FER) stepped into 2022 with 260 active scientific research projects, making it the most active academic institution in Croatia in terms of the number of projects this year as well.
