INTERNATIONAL COMMISSION ON NON-IONIZING RADIATION PROTECTION

The ICNIRP is an international organization that studies the effects of non-ionizing radiation on people and the environment, i.e. it specializes in non-ionizing radiation protection.

The organization develops and disseminates science-based advice on limiting exposure to non-ionizing radiation. The exposure within these defined limit values is considered not to cause adverse effects. It is up to the regulatory authorities of each country to accept or reject these recommendations.
