gNB DISTRIBUTED UNIT

A gNB Distributed Unit (gNB-DU) is a logical node created by the gNB functional split. This node is located in the immediate vicinity of the user (similar to 4G base stations), which is why the functionalities it performs have a smaller delay compared to the functionalities of the Central Unit.
