Beamforming or spatial filtering is a type of radio frequency (RF) management that focuses a wireless signal toward a specific receiving device (i.e. directional signal transmission or reception), rather than having the signal spread in all directions, which is achieved by using multiple antennas / antenna arrays and adequate signal processing.
